Guided Gift

Kearney:

At this global management consulting firm, I worked across both design-specific projects and broader general strategy pieces. Along the way, I learned how to combine the two together to produce the most effective solutions.
I completed projects for various industries, including:
Select experience includes:
- Identifying $10M of cost savings for a leading insurer by analysing financial performance of subsidiaries and evaluating strategic fit to determine divestment strategies
-
Developing ESG framework for a leading PE fund by assessing existing and future regulation, competitor benchmarks and value return to inform long term portfolio strategy - this work was converted into a published article

-  Identifying $100M+ revenue uplift for a leading insurer by designing the value proposition, roadmap, business case and customer experience features of a bulk buying platform.  This involved conducting interviews, creating personas and stakeholder workshopping
- Identified $20M+ in cost savings for a large beauty retailer by analysing category spend and identifying areas of optimisation; Designed structure and branding of procurement training program for staff

Design is most powerful when it is integrated throughout an organisation.

My background as an award winning designer, combined with my experience in strategy, brings the skillset to create synergy between design and more conventional business teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

I offer new, creative perspectives to tackle the most complex, networked problems.

Academics:

I studied a Bachelor of Design Computing and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Dalyell Stream) at the University of Sydney. In 2020, I completed an exchange at the world renowned Parsons School of Design in New York. Over the course of my degree, I achieved:

I'm fuelled by my curiosity for...

Picture

Design Thinking

I love learning about new design thinking methodologies, particularly ones with unconventional applications (ask me about the Beautiful Trouble project!).
Picture

Social Change

I want to use my skills to give back to communities in need and make a real, positive impact. I believe design is a powerful tool for social change because it offers the potential not only to challenge problems, but actually solve them.
Picture

User Research

I love interacting with users and think their input is vital to the success of any design. Making digital products with their needs specifically in mind, then collaborating with them throughout the process is fun.
Picture

Sustainability and Biodesign

I am passionate about the environment and have been an executive of the Sydney Sustainable Ocean Alliance for three years (ask me for interesting facts about the rainbow mantis shrimp!). I am really interested in Biodesign and love learning how approaches like biomimicry can help both humans and the planet.
Picture

Art History

I do a double major in Design Computing and Art History. I understand a lot about visual appeal and its history and I know plenty of fun facts about Michelangelo and Keith Haring. I can research and write in a clear, engaging manner.

New Tools

I enjoy discovering new tools for creating, from digital prototyping applications like Sketch to more physical ones like 3D printing.
