Kearney
At this global management consulting firm, I worked across both design-specific projects and broader general strategy pieces, constantly innovating to deliver effective solutions.
Select experience includes:
- Identifying $100M+ revenue uplift for a leading insurer by designing the value proposition, roadmap, business case and customer experience features of a buying platform. This involved conducting interviews, creating personas and stakeholder workshopping - Identifying $10M of cost savings for a leading insurer by analysing financial performance of subsidiaries and evaluating strategic fit to determine divestment strategies - Developing ESG framework for a leading PE fund by assessing existing and future regulation, competitor benchmarks and value return to inform long term portfolio strategy - this work was converted into a published article - Identifying $20M+ in cost savings for a large beauty retailer by analysing category spend and identifying areas of optimisation; Designing structure and branding of procurement training program for staff |
Industries I worked in include:

Case Study: Insurance
Given the confidential nature of our client work, I cannot provide detailed cases, but the projects generally followed a structure like this:
The problem:
A large Australian insurer wanted to develop a platform to make processes easier and more cost effective for staff, contractors and subcontractors |
The process:
I conducted interviews and ran workshops with various stakeholders, from executives to subcontractors I worked with a team to identify the varied stakeholder needs through affinity diagramming, then translated them into personas Through brainstorming sessions, my team and I ideated potential offerings to meet those needs |
The outputs:
I scripted, shot and produced a video prototype to test different offering options with our client The iterated offerings were developed into a value proposition and graphic This was then further user tested with a prototype mockup of the platform I made in Figma Based on client feedback, we then created a staggered roadmap for development, from MVP to North Star solution Concurrently, I created a business plan which explored software acquisition or development options and identified the potential savings of our platform solution |
The outcome:
Our clients elected to build and implement a platform based on the core value proposition and stakeholders offerings we identified This had significant, multi-million dollar savings implications and furthered our client's strategic objectives |
Macquarie
As a Digital Innovation intern, I identified design interventions to increase staff productivity
Experience includes:
- Identified and validated 6 guiding principles and wireframed new prototype for the redesign of internal staff portal, through designing and analysing surveys, visualising Google Analytics data and conducting interviews (See case study below) - Outlined optimisation strategy for employee ways of working by analysing 300+ data inputs, identifying key pain points (Case study provided upon request) - I was the first intern to lead workshops with ~50 internal stakeholders (including director-level) |

Beyond Essential Systems
As a UX/UI Designer for this social enterprise, I designed new digital features and platforms to deliver healthcare technology to remote Pacific Islander communities
I was promoted after an initial 6-week internship to a permanent position. During my time there, I:
- Designed a new service offering, including 3 key features for a healthcare management software through user research, mockups, iteration, and prototyping - Led technology comms stream, making explanatory videos, writing blog posts and customer emails to explain new developments and features - Redesigned the company website, mocking up new layouts, creating visual assets and uploading them to the live site |
I won this internship through the Humanitarian Innovation Hackathon - see my entry below:

Travel
I recently returned from a career break where I travelled the world.
I gained so much life experience and achieved tremendous personal growth, while honing my skills in budgeting, logistics planning and learning to actually get sleep on overnight buses (although there's still room for improvement on that last one!) |
